“To see my mother and the other Elders alongside younger models, it was happy and emotional. Three generations wearing our clothes in celebration of culture.”
I come from a long line of artists, including relatives whose prints have been exhibited in Vogue. This artistic lineage connects me to both ancient knowledge and contemporary expression.
After years of collecting magazines and studying haute couture, I've developed my skills as a fashion designer and printmaker. My garments challenge perceptions of Indigenous landscapes, with each piece inviting the wearer to feel the stories of Country.
I work with secondhand fabrics and community seamstresses, living by my philosophy that "You can get anything from nothing and make it something." Through sustainable fashion practices and Indigenous storytelling, I create designs that serve both as personal expression, and cultural preservation.
Recently, I collaborated with my sister Corina at the 2025 KAFTA Rubibi/Broome runway exhibition, which became a significant intergenerational ceremony for us. To see my three generations wearing our cloths, including my mother and the other Elders alongside younger models in my garments was so beautiful and emotional.
